How it works
How PetitionPilot drafts your petition
A guided path from raw materials to a filing-ready draft you fully control.
- 01
Choose your visa path
Start a case for EB-2 NIW, EB-1A, O-1, EB-5, or I-485. Each path loads a workflow built around that petition's legal standard and the evidence it requires.
- 02
Upload your résumé and materials
Add your CV, publications, award letters, contracts, or any supporting documents. The assistant reads them to understand your profile before it asks a single question.
- 03
Answer a focused intake
Instead of a generic form, the assistant asks the specific questions your case needs — and pauses to wait for you whenever a fact is missing rather than guessing.
- 04
The AI drafts and cites its standard
It writes your petition letter section by section, argues against the actual criteria (for NIW, the three prongs of Matter of Dhanasar), and assembles a labeled exhibit index. You can watch its reasoning as it goes.
- 05
Review and edit everything
Open any document in the editor and change whatever you like. A watermark marks the preview so you can share drafts internally without anyone mistaking them for the final filing.
- 06
Unlock and export the package
When the draft is ready, a one-time per-petition unlock removes the watermark and exports a clean DOCX and PDF package of the letter and exhibits.
It adapts to how you qualify
Some applicants make their case through academic work — papers, citations, peer review. Others make it through industry impact — products shipped, revenue, adoption. The assistant weighs your profile and emphasizes the evidence that is strongest for you, rather than forcing one template onto every applicant.
Your words, your filing
PetitionPilot produces a first draft and keeps you in the driver's seat. You can accept, rewrite, or discard anything it proposes. The exported package reflects your final edits — it is your petition, not ours.
